Hi!
How're you doing? I hope that Yong Joon's upcoming birthday inspires joy and new friendships in your life.
Anyway, I was wondering if any person is interested in self-studying korean? You may like to learn YJ's native language but are limited either by your busy schedule or budget constraints.
About a month back, I bought the Pimsleur's Approach to Korean. Within a month of learning korean through the tape set, I have been able to learn simple Korean and it is 1 of the factors leading to my ability to write a simple Korean birthday message to Yong Joon Oppa.
Now that I've finished learning the entire tape set, I am going on to other Korean language materials and wish to sell this tape set. If you visit the Pimsleur's Approach website, you'd realize that the price of the tape set is US$95 excluding shipping costs which had come up to US$10-15 to get it shipped to me.
Now, you will have the opportunity to get my set at nearly half price and save on the shipping cost especially if you're in Singapore or the Asia-Pacific countries near me. I'm willing to let it go for at least US$57 (approx S$99.75) + shipping costs to send the tape set to you.
The tape set is only 1 month old and like new. There is only some of my personal writing on the write-up of the Pimsleur Approach.
In addition, to thank you for helping me get a little money back after using the tape set, I will give the winning bidder a listing of the free/paid resources I am currently using to learn korean which you can similarly used to master korean. This listing names the materials that the majority of korean students agree are good resources and had taken me 1 month (before my purchase of Pimsleur Approach to Korean) to compile and research for myself.
This list will help save you time and energy from studying materials which may not be as good and help you master korean with minimum time and effort. (Note that all the materials I researched (including the Pimsleur's Approach for Korean) are for english speakers. If you cannot speak/read English, these materials will not be useful to you.)
So if you are serious about self-learning korean, send me your bid (min of US$57 excluding shipping) via Private Message (PM) now with your contact e-mail address and contact number. Do note that I have only 1 copy. Please do not bid if you are not serious about buying it. I may name you in this thread as a person without integrity.
All bidders will also be given a free resource online that will start you off in learning the Hangul (korean) alphabet as well as the basic conversational and grammatical structure. That site makes learning korean interractive and fun.
If you have any queries, simply reply to this thread and I'll be happy to answer them.
If you are ready to get the set for nearly 50% off plus huge savings in shipping (true for Singapore and Asia-Pacific countries near here), send me a Private Message (simply click on my nick 'Shuen' on the left hand column, you'll find an option to send me a PM).
