How do you do?- date: 27 April 2007
On 13th of this month (April), I attended opening commemorative event at PARK BOF OSAKA in Japan.
Opening of PARK BOF at Nonhyeon-dong is still something new in our memory,
but being able to open the park in Osaka continuing from Jeju,
I was deeply moved to watch a steady stream of family visiting the place.
I am happy to share this significant place with all family.
Also I was really happy to meet all family after a long interval.
I would like to thank everyone for visiting PARK BOF OSAKA.
PARK BOF OSAKA will grow with actors of BOF, and I hope that this place will be a place to create, and to share good memories for family, and I hope that this place becomes a comfortable place.
Other day, Bae Yong Joon completed shooting for Japanâs new drama ââŹĹHotelier.ââŹÂ
Original ââŹĹHotelierââŹÂ was loved by so many people in Korea, and BYJ had costarred with wonderful actors.
It is one of memorable drama for Bae Yong Joon.
It was the first time to shoot drama with Japanese staff.
BYJ was somewhat a little nervous but it seems he enjoyed working with the director, Ms. Aya Ueto and Mr. Seiichi Tanabe.
I would like to send our gratitude for providing BYJ a chance to make friendly guest appearance.

I remember that Bae Yong Joon was very excited before the recording.
He wanted to record something that could please family.

He would show his kindness by sending his appreciation to staff.

According to the weather forecast, rainy season will begin this week.
The shooting for the dramaâTWSSGâ is scheduled to start soon but I am a little worried that it may rain.

Did you know that many people in Korea drink makkoli with chijimi on a rainy day?
It is emotionally romantic to have a drink while listening to the sound of raindrops.

âSamgyetangâ is a chicken dish which is stuffed with nutrition and cordiality.

As I am talking about food, âGosirehâ comes to my mind.

Korea is already becoming autumn, how about Japan?
Last Sunday, there was wedding ceremony for Bae Yong Joonâs manager, Mr. Hwang Yong.
Relatives of both families, friends and colleagues from office attended the wedding to celebrate coupleâs new life.
Bae Yong Joon also attended the ceremony between his drama shooting.
He joined the group photos and congratulated bride and groom till the end of the ceremony.
A friend of the groom, actress Choi Ji Wooâs manager worked as emcee for the ceremony.
Emcee announced they will test groomâs love for the bride, groom was ordered to do bending exercise while holding the bride in his arms, and say âbanzai!â at last.
Wedding turned out to be a happy and cozy one for everyone who attended.
Lately at weddings in Korea, it is becoming a trend that not only bride but groom tosses the bouquet to their friends.
The groom was to toss the bouquet this time, but since Bae Yong Joon nominated me to receive the bouquet, I was suddenly taken out in front of everyone.
It was an unexpected incident for me. I have to get married soon, butâŚ

Year 2008 has started.
Did you spend happy new year holidays? I had a cozy new year with people close to me.
In Korea, we eat âtteokguk,â Korean style rice cake soup for new year. There is popular belief that you get older by the number of bowls you eat. As a child I tried to eat number of bowls so that I could grow up quickly. It is a pleasant memory for me.
Thanks to all family, we had many good things last year. Especially, at MBC Drama Awards ceremony, Drama âTae Wang Sa Shingi,â Bae Yong Joon received Grand Acting Award.
We were able to achieve good results as you have always watched us in same sprit. We sincerely send our appreciation to all family, and we will do our best in our activities in return for everyoneâs kindness.

It is fully spring now, I hear many people in Japan are burdened by hay fever,,,
please take it easy.
Other day, there was CF shooting for Koreaâs car navigation brand âviliv.â

Whilst we hope to share with you about the scenary of the coming autumn season in Korea, we too wish to know what kind of beauty autumn holds in Japan.
Just like everyone knows, Bae Yong Joon too wishes to share with the family about the beauty of Korea, and together with the staff, he is working hard to complete the book that showcases the beauty of Korea.

Just the day before, BYJ was appointed as Korea's Ambassador for Tourism by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture. BYJ, who has always been sharing all things Korean with the family and who has been sharing his joy with the family, is immensely happy with this new appointment.
Just some days ago, BYJ had gone on a 2D1N trip to Gyeongbuk and Andong with the staff in preparation for the book, Beauty of Korea. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go with them.
BYJ visited the pottery exhibition, tried the soybean paste at the soybean village, and he even stayed a night at the traditional Korean house; the trip was as meaningful as it was enjoyable.
Currently, BYJ is immersing himself in the actual on-site research for the purpose of writing the travel book, and he too has been expressing his own views and opinions actively during the planning meetings. At the same time, he is also studying the ideas submitted by the family very carefully; he is carrying out the preparation work (for the travel book) very diligently and earnestly.
Looking at BYJ's genuinely sincere attitude, the rest of the staff including myself will all think this way, "We too have to put in our best work!"
We will continue to work hard on creating a book that will allow us to share the beauty of Korea with the family.

It may be a good idea to go out to see cherry blossoms with your friends

Lee Bo Young, Park Ye Jin, E Ji Ah, Bong Tae Gyu, Kim Jung Wook,

to create a photo book to protect environment.
All the profit will be donated to environmental organization,
and it will be used for environment protection activities.

Annyong Hasaeyo, This is Yang Geun Hwan.
Seoul is now stinging cold, and everyone seems to be busy getting ready for
year-end and new year.
Family members must be busy everyday at this year end.
I am now having the happiest time than anything.
I feel a bit embarrassed to talk to family about this, before dawn on 18th
my adorable first child (girl) came into the world.
I wanted to share my delight with my friends and acquaintances,
even though it was late at night, I sent out text messages.
Among them, Bae Yong Joon ssi was the first person to call and heartily congratulate me.
Being present at great mysterious birth of a new life, I will never forget this
happiest feeling when I met my adorable child.
I seem to be talking only about myself.
Currently, Bae Yong Joon ssi is busy working on dubbing for Animation
âWinter Sonata.â We ask you for your much interest and support.
Family members must be busy at this year-end and new-year period,
please be careful of your health and have a precious and happy end of year 2009.

Year 2010, a new year with family has started.
Dear family, happy new year!! (sae-hae-bok, mani-ba-du-se-yo!)
It is already fourth year to give my greetings through this blog.
Looking back last year, personally, I was able to create a good family
and with the birth of my adorable daughter, I had a most meaningful year.
What can I say to everyone at this blog this year,
I am excited and nervous as I am writing this.
Last year, Bae Yong Joon-ssi appeared to you in new styles,
he had worked as writer for âBeauty of Korea (Discovering the Beauty of Korea),â and did dubbing for Animation âWinter Sonata.â
There are high expectations what kind of style he will show this year.
To make this year a year to respond to familyâs love,
and to grant to everyoneâs wishes,
Bae Yong Joon-ssi and myself will do our best in year 2010.

We had much snow this winter, I did not think we will be having such warm spring.

It is already April of year 2010. How time flies!
Other day, my daughter who was born last year celebrated her 100th day.
In Korea, childâs 100th day is a special day and we celebrate it with family and relatives.
I had a small gathering with my family for celebration.
Bae Yong Joon attended and congratulated us.
