First of all, i went to Bishan Junction 8 today...

1) On the 2 sliding glass door, you can see April Snow poster....

2) If you are walking to the Bishan MRT Station from Junction 8 building..you will see a BIG April Snow banner waiting for you..

3) If you purchased S$80 or more at Bishan Junction 8, you can redeem some April Snow gifts at the Customer Service counter..(which is near Swensen) - will not mention what gifts in case i remember the wrong stuff....And if i didn't remember wrongly, they are giving out tickets for a special screening of "Untold Scandal"!!!!!!But i think you have to spend a certain amount of $$ to get the tickets...
(Note: please verify and go to the Customer Service counter for more informations.-there is a poster regarding the promotions...so please check how much you have to spend 1st before buying anything.... )

4) This is the best of all....i'm going to be at Bishan Junction 8 cinema on 13th October....and buy the popcorn and Coke set.....because it will comes with a gift........

Next.........i happened to surf the website for GV Cinemas...and guess what did i find out? There is a special preview on the 11th October 2005 at Tiong Bahru GV Theatre.....

Yesterday was the 1st day of selling the tickets....it comes with 2 tickets and 8 April Snow postcards.....

I went down immediately to Bishan GV Cinema(because the website said can buy at all outlet) to buy the 11th oct preview ticket...but......but.........the counter staff told me it's SOLD OUT!!!! :cry: :cry: :cry:

Then i saw them selling the April Snow Popcorn Combo which comes with a coke, popcorn and 4 April Snow postcards...Immediately i asked if i can buy now....the staff said yes.........i'm a bit "kiasu"(afraid to lose), afraid that if i wait till 13th Oct, the postcards might have been given out.....

So, i told them..."I want to buy the April Snow combo...but i only want the coke and postcards....the popcorn u can have it.......... the staff there must be thinking i'm some crazy nuts who are so willing to fork out $8 for the coke and postcards....The staff told me i can bring back the popcorn but i told myself.....here you are trying to lose weight...if you bring back the popcorns, you are going to let your 1mth effort go down the drain.......so i told them..."no thank you..".

The staff was good...he told me...i can give you the April Snow popcorn paper container..............! lucky he offered that to me....since there are pic of BYJ & SYJ on it...........

$8 for the popcorn paper container, postcards and coke....i think it's worth it too....

Just to let you all know that J8 is quite pleased with the response so far (he said..:"they got a headache." hahaha!). They've never had promotional things being fully redeemed so quickly before (referring to the Untold Scandal movie).

But they would like to see more fans submitting their entries for the memorabilia contest. There's not enough entries. So, don't be shy hor. Details about this will be updated later on the site here and sent out via email to members.

Ya, the 1st time when i asked a chinese lady, she said everything fully redeemed! She even pointed at the small poster which pasted ' Fully Redeemed" to me....err...her face was very black. I was so disappointed. But after calling Lynn who asked me to try again, i managed to get it from another chinese lady ( i emphasized 'chinese' as there was another 'malay' staff around)....this time the other staff with black face was not around.....luckily i was thick skin enough to go again!

Btw, i also bought 3 sets of popcorn combo...but without popcorn...hehe!

I went J8 just now (7th Oct evening) and the AS folder is still available for redemption!!! Those who have not redeem pls hurry and go spend min $30 to redeem!

hmm....my own opinion arh.....folder quality is ...hmm.....not as good as the one given by JF. but picture very nice ....it's a nice collectible item.

me bought the Tiong Bahru preview screening- 11th Oct movie package too! (mainly also because of the AS 8 beautiful postcards! :? ) and we asked the staffs so many questions about AS's package and popcorn combo set...and they almost can't handle us!!! hee.....

btw, saw the display of the BYJ fans' collectibles just now....quite a few items are really EXCLUSIVE lor......make me green with envy, especially Rosalind's 2 pics taken with OUR YONG JOON OPPA.... :roll:

Each person is allow to redeem one.
The J8 stuff require your IC upon issuing the folder.
( spend min $30 to redeem for one folder. )
