Crank up party of the 'WLS' at 63 building, sketch & photos

At 7 PM on past March 19, on the 3rd floow of the annex of 63 Building, KBS executives including Mr. Park Kwonsang, president of KBS, Yoon Seokho PD & production crew of the 'WLS', many cast including BYJ, Choi Jiwoo, Park Yongha, Park Solmi, Lee Hyewun, etc., and singers Lee Jeonghyeon, Ssai, etc gathered in one place. It was because tthere held a crank-up party of the 'WLS' ,which set up contless issue and rare records with heartbreakiing love and beautiful story. ML visited the crank-up party live site where singer Yoo Yeol, appearing as radio DJ, proceeded as its MC.

As if one comes to see a singer's concert, there were continuous lines of queue round and round, and we spotted here & there arguments between event staff ane people. I was really surprized. I feel that this expression might be the most appropriate. From middle & high school students to married women, all of them ran to come and was waiting to see Joonsahng or to see Yujin upon hearing the news of self-contratulatory party of crank-up of the 'WLS'. I feel that it is the appearance of making one guess the popularity of the 'WLS' at one glance.

A little while later, BYJ wearing in entirely black tone with black-colored leather jacket, black knit and even black cap covering face, entered in the event venue. At that, as if they have been waiting, fans, press corps, and KBS staff give him much shouts of joy and unsparing hand clappings and to Choi Jiwoo, who was a little bit tardy, they gave much shouts of joy along with amiable teasing by Yoo Yeol, "She is exactly same as the tardy queen Yujin, isn't she?". However, I thought that more than that, the pure and transparent appearance in black leather jacket & jean pants and donned in sneaker might be more similar to Yujin.

The actors saying that they had the last shooting in Sangdo-Dong until few hours before the crank-up party, they told they shot the scene-after 3 years had passed, Yujin who returned after finishing overseas study in France, Sanghyeok who are joyous holding up a child of Jinsook & Yongkook, Chaerin who are waiting for them...and from far away, while listening to their voices, pathetically smiling Joonsahang-as the last scene. In particular, BYJ attended the event venue after he shot in Sangdo-Dong until 4 PM after he came to Seoul from Geoje Island at dawn. Because of that he slept for only about 2 hours and, in addition, he did not have any meal at all.

Although tiredness was apparrent fullu on their faces as all of them ran to the event venue as soon as the shooting was over like that, despite of that, even to the interviews & photo shootings from press corps and barrage of autograph requests from fans, they all entertained them one by one with smiling faces and expressed thier appreciation with bright smiles.

To a question from reporters if they would appear again when Director Yoon Seokho calls, they laughed saying that they may be able to act with Director Yoon Seokho any more because it was very difficult. To that, Directro Yoon Seokho, who was standing next to them, also laughed brightly expressing his opinion that he was thankful to actors who might be complaining about himself much as he made them suffer a lot and that it was the work that remained in his memory as entire cast and production staff together had suffered a lot. The pople in the 'WLS' who are cheering with congratulatory drinks saying no to forget beutiful memory from winter in 2002 before they cut the congratulatory cake, their appearance of holding hands tightly as if they were wanting, was so beautiful as to make us reminisce a scene in the 'WLS'.

BYJ's interview which continued even after the official event was over. To a question from reporters if he did not feel difficult at the very rigorous shooting over 3 months, he confessed his frank wish that he would like to rest quietly in place no one is present for right at that moment. However, along with saying that he does not want his fans who always love and trust him unchangingly to wait for him too long, he did not forget to give autographs and say words of thank individually for the fans who came to visit to meet him even after the crank-up party was over and the cast have left the site.
